Last summer, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Korea, fulfilling a dream of mine to immerse myself in the vibrant world of K-Pop. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting YG Entertainment, a renowned powerhouse in the industry. However, upon arriving at their headquarters, I was disappointed to find that access was restricted due to privacy reasons. Undeterred, I decided to explore the area further and stumbled upon YG’s cafe shop conveniently located across the street. Stepping inside, I found myself surrounded by a treasure trove of K-Pop goodies, from albums and merchandise to memorabilia of my favorite artists. Although I couldn’t enter YG Entertainment itself, the experience of discovering their cafe shop and indulging in K-Pop delights added an unexpected and memorable twist to my Korean adventure.
